To get started, look for as much information (manuals, repair guides) as possible on the 92 Integra. You will need a good source of many different parts and tools so start looking online for some catalogs.

It will take a lot of work...You will have to change many other items such as wiring harness, computer (cars that come with auto trans. have a certain computer strategy that uses feedback from sensors on the trans. and without that feedback it would cause problems) , fly wheel, axles, maybee even steering column if the brackets for the clutch pedal are on the column.... Honestly its not worth the expense or trouble....It would also take some other modifications to the car.

Just change the transmission. But honestly your better off buying a Manual tranny car.The cost to do this outweighs the value. In fact you can probably get a newer car (1997 integra) for the price off the swap

Honestly you can get a 96-97 GSR for the price of the swap. There is way more to this than just swapping the tranny. Your total cost of doing this and doing it correctly is about $5000-$7000. You will need tranny, tranny mounts, axles, flywheel from the manual car, ECU from the manual car, COMPLETE wiring harness from the manual car, shift linkages, shifter, shift boot, center console to accept the shifter, the three pedal assembly because the size and placement of the brake in the automatic will not allow the clutch pedal to operate properly, clutch master cylinder, hydraulic lines, and someone that has done this swap before. I cannot stress this enough GET A PROFESSIONAL TO DO THIS!!!! You will be putting your life as well as others at risk with a junk install and used parts.

I agree with the guys that say don't convert it. Usually a project like that will cost you more money than to buy a car with a manual transmission. I have a 95 Acura Integra with a manual transmission and I would never try to convert it to an automatic, because of complications that may arise from trying to do so. It may cause more harm than good. If you want an Integra with a manual transmission sell your car and by one with a manual.
