When i first start my car my RPM jumps up pretty high and when i shift to neutral while im driving my RPM stays up for a little bit then goes down slowly. I also recently did a head swap and i know my timing isnt off because i already checked that. Im thinking my throttle cable is to tight or something. Does anyone know whats wrong?

if it goes down really slowly then something could be wrong in your throttle assembly, my buddy had a problem like that when he upgraded his throttle body
