No it will reduce your performance and it is not good to use low fuel in such a high end car because it may be cheaper but it could mess up your car.

OK, I just own two new high end cars...the dealer told me that even though I usually run 93 Octane gas I can run the Medium Octane gas in them without hurting them. Not the low one, but the Medium one. Plus, I usually use a gas booster like STP or one that comes with the gas every three of four tanks. I've always had foreign cars and never had one that I had any problem with. I asked the dealer because of gas prices and both my cars are V8's. I was just curious, I still us 93 Octane, but I just wondered. I have a new Mercedes, amy Hubby has a new Audi and we share a 2007 Cadillac SRX Crossover.

No. You have a powerful 4 cylinder engine making more than 200HP. It needs premium to function properly.Premium gas is 91-96 octane.Almost all Luxury and sportscars require premium.

according to the owner's manual it recommends 91 octane and not to use below 87 octane. I own a 06 6MT TSX, bought new 11/17/06, with almost 48,000 miles. I do mostly highway driving, average 32-35MPG using regular (87) gas. My car has more than enough power and did not lose performance.

In my MDX I use 93-96 but it shouldn't do anything to a tsx to use cheaper. In a tl or rl it would not be too smart
