If you're planning on converting your car from auto to manual, the best(and easiest) way is to just go buy one with the manual tranny. You'll be MUCH better off. You'll need a LOT of parts to do the swap. You'll need the trans, obviously, but you're also going to need the shifter, and shift linkages, a new pedal assembly, the clutch hydraulics, a clutch, etc. By the time you're done with parts and labor, you're dropping a LOT of cash. Just go buy one with the 5 speed.

more than the car is worth...you should have bought a stick instead of an automatic. You also need to think about the engine..not only does it need all the tranny parts, it needs to marry to the engine..if it doesn't, then you also need a new engine. MORE money than the car is worth...next time, have a thought.
