Default i just put anti-freeze in my 94' acura integra on friday and noticed slight smoking under

the hood yesterday- i checked and the anti-freeze was completely gone-even though i had filled the container all the way up. it has onky been 3 days, i know this can't be normal for it all to be gone...what could be wrong? i use a 50/50 mix...is this ok to use? why is my car so thirsty? also, even when i turn the heat/air coditioner off inside my car, i put my hand to the vents and still feel the air coming out lightly. why doesn't it shut all the way off-what's going on, and what should i check for when i take the car to be looked at this weekend?also, i was told by a friend to buy a 50/50 mix that says "NO WATER NEEDED" and put it in the large whitish/clearish container instead of the slimmer, metal tube with the black twist-off top. am i putting the anti-freeze in the right spot?

some of the anti freeze could have dropped on the manifold. if this is the case it will simply burn off.

50/50 is ok, its half water half antifreeze. As for your thirsty car, have it checked. it could be a leak but you said it was completely go within 3 days of filling it up. A "leak" is too slow for that. try letting your car run for 20 min.s after u put the antifreeze. let it sit while it runs. Watch to see if and where it leaks or pours out of. Let em know your observations when u bring it to get looked at. If you spilled any onto the engine (headers, manifold, etc.) its going to smoke and give off a smell until it burns off completely. And your air vents will always slightly blow air, it comes from the engine. Plus its an older car- not so "high tech" it's ok too though.

The Large Whitish - Clear container sounds like your Windshield Wiper Fluid reservoir.Make sure you put it in the Very Front Center container. The LID will be marked HOT and it will only twist off when you press down. This lid may get hot if you drive the car. I suggest you take your car to a Jiffy Lube or Sears and have them check all your fluids if you are still not comfortable. The wrong fluid in the wrong place could create worse issues.Best of luck.
