I just recently bought my sister's and I can't for the life of me figure out what the mysterious green button on the keyless remote does. Nor can I figure out how the alarm system works either - it decides when it wants to activate. There's the big black button on the remote that locks/unlocks, then there's the tiny green one that does who knows what. I've checked the manual and it's not in there. Anyone?thanks, but no dice on the holding it down thing. anyone else?

keep it pressed for about 3 sec. it might do something like pop the trunk open

it might be an extra channel that's programmable. if the button is much smaller than the lock/unlock button, the button is normally used by first pressing the small button, then pressing the button you use for lock/unlock. common applications would be to open the trunk, close windows, start car, etc., depending on what was added on. if it doesn't work, then it doesn't have any additional options.
