the lsvtec has potential to make good power but usually isnt as reliable.the gsr is a great motor.

depends on what you want. gsr has pretty good mid range to high end. ls vtec is all torque. the car will hop when you shift to second but is kinda lacky at top end. i have a b20vtec and i just love the feeling of the car hopping when i shift. i timed my 0-60 and it did so in 5.2 seconds. but you sacrafice a lot of traction. my friend had a gsr civic and it ran a 13.7 at the track. he swapped for a b20vtec and ran a 14.1. traction was the main issue. i think the lsvtec is good with slicks and that's bout it.

If your talking race wise then an lsvtec motor in an integra can keep up with an gsr but the gsr would start to pull on you up top. Since the ls bottom end won't be able to rev high enough to use the vtec head like an gsr would be. Plus lsvtec motors aren't as reliable as an gsr obviously.

These people are morons. the LS/VTEC has a base dyno of 175-185 HP at the wheels (with a LS bottom end and a B16 head) as opposed to a GSR motor (B18C1) that puts down 145-150 HP at the wheels. This is bone stock with no internal work or power adders.
