Well the b16a engine is a high revving engine high revs meen more horsepower in the top end if you are a high rever and want more top speed go with the b16a. on the other hand the b18 provides a lot more torque wich meens it is alot better for drag racing and and quicker throttle response. it is soley your prefrence. thats why sometimes ppl go with ls/vtec wich is b18 bottom end with a b16a vtec head lots of torque with a high rev hope this helps

I have a 95 integra and have experienced both engines in my car....both engines have nice power top end, but the b18c1 obviously had more power than the b16...

motor swap or head swap. head swap you wont notice the difference between the 2 on a basically stock car.motor swap... get the gsr motor, b18c1, yes it has a little more top end than the b16 but the reason i say get the gsr motor is because you will need the torque in that integra.integras are heavy, 2500ish pounds, civics are 4-500 punds lighter. you will want the bottom end power in a daily driven car.

B18 for sure, there is no replacement for displacement (well except a good turbo...)
