Default what do i need for vtec?

i have a 91 integra with a b18a1 what all do i need to turn it into a vtec i know nothing about that

A vtec engine is one that has variable valve timing. They didn't come out until after 91 so you would have to change the engine, emission system, and all the electronics.

You're going to end up spending more on a 17 year old car then it's worth and unless it's done professionally, you end up with a mess.

if you know nothing about it then dont attempt to do it until you do some research.you can swap in a whole new motor.. b18c1 or a b16. or you can do lsvtec and put a b16, gsr, or type R head on your block.figure out everything you need to do before you touch a wrench.you'll also need a vtec ecu, probably a chipped pr3, and a couple wires for vtec from your ecu to your vtec solenoid.

vtec isnt worth it just buy an older v8 or v6
