The back trunk is the only thing I like about the new facelifted 2009 Acura RL... I figured that since the new model received a "facelift" and not a completely new redesign, many of the 2008 and 2009 parts are interchangeable.

Even if it will, you will be lowering the value of the 08 by doing it (without even getting into the cost of buying one since it would have to be new, installed, painted, etc). If you tried to sell the 08 a few years from now and it has a trunk lid from an 09, I would assume it was in an accident. By the time you add it all up, it would probably be cheaper to trade in for the new one, and then you'll get all of the other enhancements that have been added

not to mention maybe voiding the warranty by doing so...Acura doesn't like mods on it's warrantied cars...

Why don`t you just by a new oneI doubt it would fit on an 08
