Default What type of brake pads are recommended for a 2004 Acura TL?

I got my Acura from a VW dealership, the brakes are squeeking like crazy and it is making some weird whistling noise when driving. I took it to an Acura dealership and guy said it has aftermarket brake pads and I need official Acura ones.Is there any place I can buy these online so I can take them to the VW dealership so they can install them for free? What do I search for? Does acura manuracture these or is it another party?

Why would you go back to the VW dealer that sold you a car with improper brake pads to begin with? You can probably get them from www.handaaccessories.com. I owudl go to an Acura dealer and have them look the car over to see what else may be wrong.

You should use only genuine Acura pads, or Axxis pads (from Australia) You can go to an Acura dealership in person to get the genuine factory pads (which fit perfectly and usually include all necessary hardware) or use the Internet for a better mail order price. Once you have them, go back to where you bought the car. If it is a genuine VW dealership, they will probably bend over backwards to make sure all is right with your car.
