Default Help! 1994, 1995 or 1996 Acura Integra, WHICH TO BUY!!?

Hi guys, After you saw my previous threads about which to pick marquis vs integra I decided to stick with the integra. After researching all the models from 1988 I concluded that the 1994, 1995 and 1996 were the best for a teenager on a budget. I care really about the horsepower/torque, although I won't be racing it, it's always nice to have. The 1994, 1995 and 1996 haveHorsepower: 142 @ 7000 RPMTorque: 125 @ 5500 RPMMy question is, "Which year and model should I pick?" 1994, 1995 or 1996. I'm NOT looking for a GS-R because their more expensive in my area. Thanks!!

They are all, basically the same car. Look for the one with the least mileage and best body and lowest price. Oh BTW I owned a '94.

if you are getting an integra, it has to be the GS-R.

As you may know, the 94-96 models have the "94-97" Front on them. You know, small headlights, amber tails etc. But to tell you, the 96' has an OBD2, which means more O2 senors and such. So you cant "trick" the emissions testing.Plus i believe that the the OBD2 has 2 more less horsepower because of emissions. Most people convert to the 94-95 OBD1, but wont pass emissions because they expect it to have an OBD2. The 94-95 models are your best best, since your not looking for a 98+. Plus, the 94 and 95 models are the same. The 96 looks the same, just has an OBD2.I personally would go with the 94-95 integra. Probably the one that got the most taken care of, and less mileage. good luck!

well the 96 integra is the newer one out of them i find that the 94-95 are stolen a lot oh yeah these are the number 1 stolen cars in the US so the insurance will be high. i have a 94 integra RS and its had two attempts to be stolen so yeah i got lucky =]... but i would still get the 94 onejoin team-integra.netif you have any questions feel free to email me any time

you want the 94 or 95. obd2 is a hassle.. especially if you modify it.make sure its clean title, no body damage, and doesnt smoke or grind gears.you shoud really find a gsr tho, i loved my last one. or if one of those has a 98+ bumper conversion, get that one. are they stock cars? personally i hate ls transmissions, so if one had a b16 or gsr trans.. id get that one.
