I have a 1990 Acura Integra and it is overheating. I changed the thermostat but there is hot pressure coming from a hose to the heater core. I noticed that the radiator hose coming from the thermastat is cool and the upper hose coming from the radiator is hot. Plus when I turn off the car I hear a boiling hissing sound. It runs poorly on idle. There is no milky oil so what is the problem

there is a purge valve on top of the thermostat housing that is used for getting all the air out of the system. should be 12mm with a hole on top. while you are filling the radiator, it should be open till you see coolant coming out. when this done. tighten up bleeder and top off radiator. then start the car. without bleeding off the air in this system, this car will overheat and you wont have coolant at the thermostat so it wont open. hope this helps
