Default my 92 acura integra has trouble starting sometimes?

it will sometimes sputter as if its at a really low idle, it will do it for a few seconds then if i give it gas it will eventually rev up, i also think my cadiilac converter blew into my muffeler

It's a 16 year old car. Change the ignition wires and spark plugs.
