Other options? I would prefer New from Honda vs rebuilt, but will consider eitherI would prefer New from Honda, but would consider rebuilt. I also want to install it myself at home.

Almost all honda engines on this website can be swapped into your car although some modification is needed. If you bought your b18b(the engine you have now) it would obviously drop right in with no modification. itll cost you a lot since they make em youll have to order it. why not get a JDM Type-R engine they have 30k or less on them =] although they may of have the crap beat out of them

do not buy one from honda. you will pay wayyy more than needed.your looking for a b18b, search local sites, maybe craigslist. they go for 3-500 used, that will run just fine.and yes u can instal it at home, super easy. if its your first time it might take u a weekend.. us honda kids can pull it and replace it in a few hours

The best way of doing business is by going to a salvage yard, take the engine out and then install it on your car. =]any Honda/Acura engine will fit. =]
