the best and easiest way to start is with some simpler bolt on items. I would start with a cold air intake. It's fairly cheap and easy to install. Next a Exhaust system could get you some extra hp. And then there's always a NOS system. You can also get into different chips and settings as well.

The DOHC 3.2l v6 is the same engine only slightly different from the one in the NSX. So you have quite a nice powerplant under your hood. Get a v-tech timer with a A/F controller. You can unlock 20-40 hp with that alone.then the usual intake, exhaust, and you might want to get some new wheels and tires. Tires wont make it faster, but will improve handling which is something you will like at higher speeds. There should be more bolt-ons avaliable now than when it was a new car. However, I have seen twin-turbo NSX's so that kind of setup is right up your alley if you really want a balls out TL. Will cost you a penny though.Avoid Nitrous. I'm guessing you have some miles on that motor, and you would like to keep the ones it has left in its life. Nitrous is like steroids for cars. With it you seem hardcore, but without it you are really a weakling.

Add power or cut weight.Adding power is expensive, and will generally cut reliability. Also, if you add a lot of power, you have to improve handling, brakes, and suspension proportionately, to have a car that is balanced in its performance, and safe to drive fast.Cutting weight can make a car quicker, and sometimes, even slightly increase its top end. It's generally cheaper to do, as you can go through a road car like an Acura, and take out 100 lbs of interior sound proofing and interior trim, with a screwdriver, on a Saturday afternoon. With less weight, your car immediately brakes better, corners better, and has more suspension capacity, all at the same time. You improve gas mileage and reduce tire and brake wear, too. And if you get going on weight reduction, you'll find that many body panel parts are easy bolt on replacements for your stock items. Plastic hoods and trunk lids are easy to find, and quick to change. But be more selective about fender replacements, and other structural lightening, as you can quickly change the engineered crash worthiness of your car, as sheet metal is usually engineered to absorb crash energy in "crumple zones." But work at; 200 pounds you leave at the curb would require about 40 additional horsepower, in a car the size of an Acura, to otherwise accelerate, for equal 1/4 mile time improvement.

Put carbon fiber hood, rims, spoilers (for aerodynamics), side mirrors, trunk, bumpers....... remove your back seats..... foam-fill your interior, put some NOS, change your headers, put a turbo, put some Tanabe exhaust, put a cat back exhaust system, change your seats to racing seats (e.g. Sparco, Recaro, Bride) or put another egine.... SR20, 3SGTE, RB26 I think....... =)For the Nos thing, be careful and responsible using it, you don't want to have a ticket and it can improve your car's performance...... even if you don't turn it on.... just make it... "for show"......... responsibility..... =)
