Default Is this price fair for a 1992 Acura Legend LS 3.2?

The guy is going to put a new engine in it, with about 95,000 miles according to him, he wants 2800 for the car, the original engine ran 262,600 miles. the car looks neat inside out and out, he's just going to do that to be able to sale it, I want the car but I'm not sure if that's a good price. I love the luxury of this car.

It's a 16 year old car with at least 262,000 miles on it. Negotiate as low as you can.

hes just replacing the engine you still go the transmission, brakes, the tires, ect i got a 97 Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor for $1800 in good shape, it has a 4.6 V8, 210hp, and it came with 86k on it. the bad side is gas, 16 mpg city and 22 mpg highway. i advise you to look at them at city auctions, you dont have to get a Crown Vic you could get the impala.

that is a lot of miles on everything else. Be sure and check it all out and if possible take it to a mechanic you trust to get it reviewed. Who know about this other engine.. could be in ?able shape

Its a good car. I will say a very good car.I'm not surprise the guy use it for 262,000 miles. So you will be with an engine with not so much mileage, yes, but do not forget the body , brakes, transmission, etc, have 262,000m . Try to get better. 2000 should be a good bargain.
