Default Is this too good to be true? (Acura NSX pricing)?

I'm obsessed with the Acura NSX, but gave up hope on it months ago, for the extremely high prices, even on old models. However, recently looking at autotrader.com, I foundd a couple of private listings that have 2004-5 Acura NSX models for sale at about $20k with extremely low values. In fact, one 2005 model went for $20k, with about 2.5k miles, and the Kelly Blue Book value is at about $65k. So what gives? Is that the going rate for these cars? Or would there be something seriously wrong with these cars?Is it possible to get a NSX with low mileage for around $20k? I don't care about the year.

a clean title nsx should not be selling for that cheap,it was prob a salvage title NSX thats the only way it would go so cheap. DONT buy a salvage title car its so not worth it

Get the VIN numbers and run a carfax report. It's possible they where in some sort of an accident. Those prices seem very low, too good to be true. If you're going to purchase the car take a mechanic with you to look it over before signing the check. Good Luck!

Yeah I see many here in Southern Cali going for that much. Just cause you can afford the price doesn't mean you can afford the maintenance on it. That's a pretty penny right there.

are you sure it wasn't a typo...like it should say RSX...NOT NSX ??? cause an NSX will NOT go for such a low price...I'd be checking out the owners of said vehicle very carefully.

There are some NSXs around for about 20 grand, but they are moslty 1991 models with high mileage. I'd be very suspect of a low mileage recent one for that money. NSXs are very expensive to run, but it is sort of impressive to find ones with 170K miles on the market that still look okay. That's about 5 times as many miles as Ferraris from the early '90s ever see.
