How do u check the oil in a Car?? And what about when the dip stick has 2 holes at the bottom. How do you read it??

between the exaust manifold( right at the front of the car) is a dipstick. should have a yellow marking on it. it is usually a little yellow ring at the top. the 2 holes are the lhigh and low point of the engine's safe running points. fill it between those poins and youre good. it should take 4.5 qts. filter and all. the filter is located on the back of the motor above the axel.

If you don't know how to check your oil level, you shouldn't have a drivers license. Open the glove compartment. Inside you will find a booklet call the "Owners Manual." Read it.

the answer is in the dip stick. those 2 holes you're talking about, that indicates how much oil you currently have. do this:1. take dip stick out. 2. wipe clean.3. put dip stick back in.4. pull out again.5. see where oil line is.6a. if oil line is under the bottom-most hole [or if it comes out dry]: add oil.6b. if oil line is above the top-most hole: too much oil. drain some out.6c. if oil line is between both holes: oil level is good.
