It should tell you somewhere on the manual or on the back of the gas cap what it is tuned for. I believe it is midgrade (89) for both Honda and Acura but I am not positive so I would check the gas cap or manual

i would say put premium because it gives more mpg's and don't look at regular or mid-grade and think that oh this is cheaper than premium i should buy it because premium keeps ur engine running fresh and good for longer time.

yes you do...it's tuned for premium. To do otherwise would ruin the engine.

91-96 is premiumAnd yes, you have to put premium. It says it on the gas cap.If it says recommended next to it, then you don't have to.If it does not say recommended, then it is required.Powerful cars and turbocharged cars usually use premium. The Acura TL has a powerful V6 engine.

Yes, premium would be a good choice.

If you use regular, you'll lower performance and gas mileage so in the end you'll save nothing.

Yes you do. Well technically you COULD put regular, but it WILL fack up your engine, making it run less smooth, less power, more stress on the engine and such. So you should put premium. I strongly advise you to.

I think the TL was meant to run on 91 octane. I personally put 89 in it. Where I am from, we get 91, and 94...not 93 octane here.
