I am trying to convince my mom to switch from an '06 accord to a new Acura TL, but she does not like that it runs on premium, but is it true that you can still fill it up with regular? please answer

No, only premiumSome cars say Required and some say Recommended. It says it on the gas cap.Usually, turbocharged cars or powerful cars require premium because they are faster. They have faster chambers that only work with premium. The Acura TL has a powerful 6 cylinder engine. It needs premium. I have driven one and I filled up the gas for it before. It says required premium.

actually what is the difference between the accord v-6 and the tl. Both made by honda. I own a tsx. The manual recommend 91 octane but also states not to use less than 87 octane. I use 87 octane, get 32-35MPG. It has not lost on performance. I bought it new 11/17/06. It has almost 39,000 miles.
