They are trim levels. For example on a Honda Accord: LX, EX, EX-L, EX-V6, EX-L V6. The higher up the better. On a luxury car, a larger number is better (S550 vs. S600)

These are trim levels. They just mean they have better options or engine. For example, the Acura Integra has an RS, LS, SE, GS, GS-R and Type-R. As you can see, they might have something like leather, 6 speed and so forth.. this is my writing for an integra since im an integra fanatic:RS- Base model, "type-r" shell because of the lightweight and "stripped" model.LS- Luxury SportMost preferred, has a little luxury stuff like power everything, cruise control and bla bla.SE- special editionHas leather and a rear spoiler, but they turned it into a GS.GS- Same as an SE.GS-R: DOHC VTEC B18C1 motor, 8000rpm redline and "fully loaded"type-r: type-racing, has a B18C5 DOHC VTEC motor and redlines at 8200rpm. rare! And these four integras all have the B18B1, non-VTEC motor at 7000RPM. Oh, and these come with an automatic, or a stick.

There is only one set of letters that matter. The VR-4, which is on the trunk lid of the Galant that passed you.Not hating, I've had 43 Honda bikes.
