Very easy answer! First: clean it very well! Second: Go to used car lot. Third: Trade it in for an american owned car GM, Ford and get a REAL CAR! Then "supein" the car is very easy! and affordable!

cool air intake? Hope you mean cold? lol. You have yourself a wonderful car, and the answer is that you can pretty much replace every single part on that car if you have the time/money. Start by buying this book http://www.amazon.com/Honda-Acura-En...39204&sr=8-3or check out autopartswarehouse.com and type in your car and see the hundreds of parts that can be replaced on your car. If you have the money you can end up turing your car into a 500+ hp beast. You made a good start with the cold air intake, you could continue the trend and complete the air system by replacing the intake manifold, throttle body, install headers, replace the cat, and exhaust. Easy to install yourself, relatively cheap and makes a significant power improvement.

the problem with automatics is that their not really made for the extra horsepower...so they basically turn into grenades...auto transmissions hate heat...they are actually very fragile.....so when you tear on em they heat up and start burning stuff up....the best thing about hondas and acuras is that aauto to manual swap is actually a very easy and affordable thing to accomplish...just look it up www.honda-swap.com or www.honda-tech.comdont listen to anyone else. import power... i myself am i vw guy but i messed around and blew up plenty of hondas in my past..just look on forums that are made for honda and acura...their full on tons of info basically anything you can think of.so for right now...get some real nice plugs and wires....you got the k&n so thats good.... and get a decent exhaust system..maybe a header...at that point youll be a typical ricer but your pretty limited with that auto trans...once you do that swap you can go with bigger cams...turbos....port and polish heads and intake...its limitless...

boost! if you dont want to swap, boost it, do to low compression a small turbo will be ideal for that acceleration your looking for, even if its an auto, a little off subject but the eclipse gst also comes in auto and it has no other mods done to the transmission or the engine othere than the turbo kit, so dont pay attention to some of these guys who say auto transmissions cant handle extra power, there probably full of shit, i may be wrong though and i do not consider my self a reliable source....hell i dont know anything i just running an da9 with a built ls/vtec with 12.5 to 1 comp n/a

well it is true that automatics cant get that fast. You will probably blow up the transmission because of too much power, heat and stuff like that. Haha and its COLD air intake. Well this is a good start, but i think you will be way better off with a manual transmission. You can do an automatic to 5 speed manual swap, which is pretty easy. You will need the transmission, clutch, clutch pedal, flywheel i think, the shift knob and boot, the manual guage cluster and some other things. A stick integra is way more fun, because you can mod it easily. And DO NOT go turbo on an automatic. It will make it less reliable if you do it wrong. But if you dont wanna do a manual swap...i consider you doing an LS/VTEC. VTEC is Hondas "boost at high rpms" or varible timing electronic and lift control. Which is that vrom..MnmnMNMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN you hear in the GS-R and Type-R models of the integra at 4.5k RPM.To get LS/VTEC, you will need your ls block, but use a VTEC head from the B18C1 GS-R or B18C5 Type-R. You can also add..-Header-A nice exhaust preferably 2.5"; greddy-cold air intake; AEM-Chipped ECU from Hondata-Better pistonsAnd some other things..But performance isnt everything. Suspension will make your car not only handle., but look better. And please dont mod it too much, because it will probably blow.
