OK first of all the knock sensor is used say if your car engine decides it wants to have a small explosion of some sort the knock sensor kicks on and automatically shuts the fuel flow off. now whether or not you can fit the nozzle into your gas tank "not sure". but if you got it from a lil red can that's different it will fit in...OK first of all it depends on the year of your car what year is it? and how much if any did you put into your gas tank? I NEED TO KNOW THE ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS...secondly any diesel vehicle has a heater in the gas tank to keep it from turning into jelly..now if you have put diesel in and have driven your car well then you are pretty much screwed it is everywhere now in your fuel system, engine block, heads, etc....now if you put it in and have not driven it TOW IT to a garage that can completely flush out the system...but like i said if you put the diesel in already and have started the car its going to be cheaper to send it to the junk yard and buy a new one...sorry man and yes the car will run but NOT FOR LONG.......BUT if you are talking about using it to clean out your engine there is a SPECIFIC way to do it...should not attempt to do this....good luck

If it run its will run like crap due to the lower flash point of diesel and the lower compression of your gasoline engine compared to that of a diesel engine.
