On my '93 Acura Legend, the D4 light blinks after driving for a few minutes, and the check engine light comes on a bit later.Ideas?I'm taking it to a garage tomorrow. But if it's a common problem and something stupid I can fix myself, I'd do it rather than have to pay for it, ya know?

You need the codes pulled out of the computer. That will teel you what is wonry Take it to the garage and have them do it.

im sorry cuz im not 100% but if d4 is blinking im thinking there is a transmission issue and you should go get the codes checked.

when there is a light flashing like that it indicates that your transmission is having a problem within that gear and should be check out by only qualify persons only because they can isolate what the problem is by reading the code that is storedyour check engine light may have some thing to do with it.. my ? is did your check engine light come at the same time the d4 light starts to blink or was the check enigne light always on. for another reason. my reconmendation is to take it to the acura dealer and have them diagnose it or a shop you would trust because some shop will try to screw you over because the check engine light may have some thing to do with th d4 blinking ask more if you need to know thanks
