Default 2004 Acura TL?

I found a Acura TL(2004)for 10,500 with minimal front end damage and will only take about 600 to fix If you ask me there is something wrong and it only has 19000 miles on it what is your opinion

There has got to be more to the story then they are telling you... it does not sound right A 04TL with 19,000 miles should be running you around 18,500-20,000. i would try to get the dealership let you take it to a certified acura dealer and have them look at it before you purchase it.

Get a mechanic to do a thorough inspection. Check the title.

If the damages are worth only $600 then that is a great deal. Make sure there is nothing else wrong with the car. I would ask to test drive it and take it straight to an Acura dealer and let them check it out.

With the average depreciation rate of cars, that is a price lower than expected but not an oddity. After the first year or two, the car's value drops by up to half, and with the car probably costing around 33,000, it's not that surprising. However, I would check it carefully since the low mileage is not too logical. Use CarFax first and test drive the car for ten miles and go from high speeds to low speeds and test all systems. If it checks out, then buy it, but if it seems to have problems have a dealer check it.

All the answers above make sense...I'd follow them.I'd add that it's important to put the thing on a frame machine and make sure that it's straight. A 'quick & dirty' check is to hose a section of roadway in front of the car, then with wheels straight, drive over & past the pavement. There should be only two sets of tire tracks, one right & one left that are the width of a tire (if the frame is straight). Personally, there's a lot at risk with buying damaged could end up paying a lot more in the long run. We bought an '00 CRV EX for $8.4K (with a salvage title), only to drop another $6K into it to make it right...hidden problems surfaced over time. I'd buy a used car from a dealer w. a warranty....also, the TL is a mostly a quite reliable car (we drive an '06 AT w/o defects). However, the '04 (the first year of the new model) has the most problems of the current 3rd generationTL...I'd go for an '05+

I think that its a great deal! Whenever cars are damaged a little, then the price HAS to drop significantly. Try inspecting the car a little further to see if theres damage beyond the front...maybe look in the engine to check. If not, its a pretty good deal.
