Default Harmonic Balancer on a Acura Legend? Is the retaining bolt right, or left hand threads?

I'm working on a 95 Acura with a 3.2-V, type II Honda engine. I need to know if the bolt that holds the torsional damper (harmonic balancer) on, is right hand, or left hand threads? If you know the answer, please let me know. If you don't know, or are not 100% sure, then please don't answer the question. Thanks!!!I have broke a 3ft. S&K breaker bar, tried an impact wrench (won't move), and I'm beginning to think its posessed!!! Next, I will try a big truck impact wrench (3/4 drive), and that will move it, or break it one.

last Honda i worked on it was reverse threads. Look for a rubber plug where the tranny bolts to the engine. That is where you put a screw driver to lock the crankshaft so you can remove the crank bolt.

you turn it to the left, you may need to use a breaker bar for more leverage to get it to come loose

Just like what Gordon said counterclockwise to get it out. Many people are gonna tell you you need a crank pulley tool, but a air gun works just as good. That's what I use.

A 2.5l inline 5 is the ONLY Acura with left handed thread. And Yes I am 100% sure. Good Luck.

On The 3.2 the bolt is right hand theard That bolt is very tight 170foot LB
A EZ way to break it lose is to put a breaker bar on the 19mm bolt Have the breaker bar rest on top of the upper drivers side frame and just use the starter It wiil break it lose
