I have a 93 integra GS Manual and I could not seem to crank the car in conventional terms, sometimes it would crank and other times it would not. I have disconnected the cable that covers the solenoid and I have to jump the positive terminal on the battery directly to the solenoid to crank the engine. Any ideas on the problem, it seems that the starter is good and since I am directly activating the solenoid that it should be good as well. Please help!! Rainy Days are quite annoying

It sounds like the neutrol safty switch Try to move the shifter a little at the same time that you try to start the moter

It's a fifty fifty thing sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, jiggling the stick, pumping the clutch or brake. Fifty/Fifty. But I'll try the starter saftey switch.
