I know that the model changed, I already have the 2001 Acura TL stereo and it looks different from the one in my 2002 Acura TL, but will I be able to connect it and mount it on my 2002 Acura TL? (Its only the CD player with radio and cassette)

i don't know what you have for car audio stores but when i installed a different type of stereo in my car i went to the store and they had adapters that would actually fit from one stereo to another, then all you'd have to do is plug the new one in, they also had adaptor plates(face plates) that would do the same thing, so it actually looks like the stereo belongs in the car and not just thrown in!

No . . .. the models didn't change from 01 to 02, but they did in 04.They got a minor refreshening though.The radio is the same, you jus tmay have a hard time getting it out because it is almost built in to the console.
