Invoice price listed in either KBB/Edmunds? Or did you pay less than invoice? (is it even possible to haggle the price below invoice on an Acura??)Just out of curiousity . . .

It all depends on the car, if it's a car that sells then you will most likely not be able to reduce it that much but it is really up to the manager, they can always go lower than the msrp.

Like the above person said it depends on how well the model sells as to how much of a deal you'll get. You can pay less than invoice. Have cash and don't be afraid to tell them you have cash. Be willing to walk out of the dealership a couple of times if you don't get your price. Buy at the end of the month - salesman have numbers to meet.Personally I think salesmen are influenced by the amount of work and time they have to put into a deal. My husband and I had to buy a new Camry last summer cause his car was totaled. We went on Memorial Day weekend. We told the saleswoman what we wanted and the price we were willing to pay. This took about 5 mins. She dickered around trying to get a better price, but we wouldn't budge (don't fall in love with the car before you buy it, be willing to buy another car if you don't get the deal you want). After about 30 mins she agreed to our price. After all, $1000 profit in 30 mins is not bad - it's not like we wasted anyone's time by going around the car lot 3 times.I also recommend you get a female car salesman - if you call the dealership first they will probably give you a female salesman since you are a woman. Then you ask for that person when you actually go to the dealer. If you just go to the dealer with your husband/dad/brother they will give you a male salesman. From my experience as a female, women salesman don't see it as much of a competition and that's better if you are a femal buyer, IMO.

for me 2004 TL, i was able to knock off $500 or maybe $1000 of invoice. Acura typically doesn't haggle much. but it may vary depending on the vehicle and location that you are in.

When I bought my Acura TL in '05, it was still relatively new but the hype over the new design had subsided. I only paid $200 over invoice but I did all my negotiating over via email with the internet manager. Like others have said, how much you pay over invoice depends on the demand of the vehicle. For instance, when the newly designed 2009 TSX and TL come out later this year, it will be very hard to get these hot new models even below MSRP for the first few months, maybe longer. On the other hand, you could get a new 2008 TL or TSX right now at or below invoice if you know how to negotiate.
