the RSX-S will be faster because it's lighter and has more torque. (the TSX has the same engine as the RSX-S, but it's bigger, 4 drs, heavier and not as much torque.)

Of course the DC5 (INTEGRA-R) or RSX-S will be better. It's much lighter, more torque, higher redline, more parts, fun to drive and has a K20A2.And NO, the TSX and RSX doesnt have the same engines! The TSX has a K24, like the CRV and the Accord. Which in Japan, they sell the Accord Euro-R, which is the USDM TSX.Again, i would go with the DC5 just because it looks more cooler, faster, lighter, higher redline, more parts to choose from and just plain fun.

Yes. There are race cars that are Acura TSX's, which race against Mazda 6, Lexus IS, and other cars of the same size and class. It has the same engine and transmission as the RSX Type S. The RSX is faster because it is lighter. They get about the same gas mileage. The TSX gets 1mpg worse.

i would suggest you get the rsx type s,the performance parts are more easily found.make sure you don't get an rsx type s that has been raced a lot because it might have some problems in the near future

the tsx can be modified-either go to the tsx club website and see what tsx owners have done to their cars.

First, the TSX is not terribly slow...one needs to push the motor hard, keeping the RPMs up in the upper band...I am aware that COMPTECH USA makes a supercharger for the TSX...it's good for adding ~ 50 whp. The problem is that COMPTECH is still coming out of a purchase/restructuring, and I'm not sure the part is readily available. You might call them to see.Other performance mods: -COMPTECH also makes headers for the TSX. Others might too.-AEM & various others make a cold air induction systems for the TSX-Various manufacturers make performance catback exhaust for the TSX.Combined, the TSX has the capability (with an MT) of running 0-60 in the high 5's...based upon power/wt ratio. It's possible to get over 270 hp from a fully-configured TSX.

I'm sure that any I4 Honda makes can be modified. The TSX is a heavy car, but its quite quick considering its only an I4 pulling 3200+ lbs.The TSX has more potential than people realize. But the RSX-S is a lighter car...

if you want a fast sedan get a 335i, STi or EVO don't bother with the TSX. its a great commuter car but don't bother trying to make it a race car. waste of moneya $600 chip gets a 335i to 360whp with pretty much full reliability. it would be a ton of money to get a TSX to that level, and reliability would pretty much be out the window at that pointfor what's its worth, i have a '02 wrx which is much easier to mod than a TSX but i am keeping it stock because its just not worth it to mod these days since there is so much fast stuff from the factory. swapped hondas were awesome 6 years ago, but its time to move on
