Default Is it possible to buy an Acura RDX and find someone to install a standard transmission...

...without hurting the car

nope you can't hurt the car . just take it down to AMMCO and they tell you how much it can run you all you might need is the trany, threw out bearing, clutch, trany mounts, and your ready to gogood luck

You are aware that the RDX has "sport" mode right? It has paddle shifters on the steering wheel for a more manual transmission feel if you wanted.

No, as the entire center consle is not wide enough to fit a standard. You would need a totally new center consule, which would be refitted.ALSO, I don't believe that the SH-AWD works with a new transmission!!!
