Default 92 acura GSR struts

Hi all,

First post here, but a long time reader. I have a 92 acura GSR, I don't race it or ride it hard but I do take good care of it and definetely appreciate the engine and frame. My struts are starting to go and i am looking around for a new set. I don't want to lower the car or anything i just want a good solid set of struts and if they improve performance that would be nice. I am looking to spend around 400-500 for the set of four struts. I have seen some shock and strut sets out there, are there any good ones? I am planning on bringing the parts to a mechanic and having them installed. I want to buy all the parts so the mechanic doesn't have to charge me for parts. It's not that I am cheap it is just that the mechanic likes to do work this way.

thanks all for the help.
