do u like the Acura MDX or the Lexus GX 470?

They're both about the same. Acura is Honda. Lexus is Toyota. Honda and Toyota made those brands for American tastes, so they're gonna be pretty nice and upscale. Personally I hate both, but I'm addicted to fast. Fast is a hell of a drug. Get those if you're addicted to "HEY, look at me in my giant people mover!" You'll be happy with either.

I am not a big fan of any SUV-no matter what brand

definately the Mdx. Has a ton more room and softer ride.

The MDX is the class act in this group.

I don't like either of them

I would have to go with the Acura MDX because it was newly redesigned last year. It has a newer engine and a nice all wheel drive system. Of course for going off road the Acura MDX is nothing compared to the Lexus. Also the engine in the Lexus is older and the design is a bit of the older style (Tall and boxy), where as luxury SUV's need to be more car like since no one really takes them off road.

I would not pay a nickel more for an Overdressed Toyota or Honda.

I like the one that costs less Seriously though - test drive them both - one will probably stand out more than the other - that's the one you should buy. If they both ride pretty much the same then look at the overall cost (deal you get for buying it, gas mileage, repair costs over time, depreciation, etc) and go with the cheaper one.
