i'll just go with the h22 setup because its a honda. So since the integra body is lighter compared to the preludes, you should have a better power to weight ratio. There will probably be some moving of the mount brackets so that it will allow the aftermarket mounts to fit, modifying the shift box to cable, custom axles, etc. I would stay away from too complicated swaps like the guys above have mentioned. Its doable but costly. stay with engines of the same make.or just do what everyone does and get a type R. easier to find parts.oh yeah i forgot to mention the k20 swap. its expensive.

Besides B? K.That's it. F20/F22's are a waste of time and money, H22's are heavy and fat - expensive, and hard to fit.. For a worth while swap I'd do a K24 bottom end with K20 top - Not that expensive, either. If you stick with B, B20 block with a B18c head, vtec conversion kit, b16 cams, gsr intake manifold, and you'll be golden.

k20 from an rsx type s is a solid choice. you should consider swapping the whole car for something else. in the late 90s swapped hondas were awesome because there wasn't much out there. these days there are a lot of quick cars from the factory. could be worth it to pick something else up rather than hassle with a swapped car

Plan and simple there isnt a best ""swap for your car it depends what you want to do. For lets say a daily driver/weekend warrior. Keeping the stock probably LS B18B motor and going boost will statifys you.For example here:Your stock motor-FreeSell your LS-Transmission-Such sites as honda-tech.comReplace it with a GSR LSD tranny-hmotorsonline.com-$950A pair of crower cams-$600Valve set-$300Clutch-$320 google-rcautoworks.com-tell him magnanieg6 sent youturbo kit from-rcautoworks.com $600-3000total cost. cheaper then a H22/H23 motor swap since you need to get hasport mounts and the H tranny suck you need an H2B mount. You be able to push 300whp on 10lbs of boost and still keep your ac ps and etcK-serious swaps cost and arm and a leg $4000+for just the motor labor and items for the swap $2000-4000.You can take that money and build your motor.honda-tech.comhomemadeturbo.com

I wanted to do a swap on my 95 integra--- but i got some advice that i made good use of...for all the money it costs to do a swap- i just did a full turbo kit. Instead of an H22 swap which will give you around 200 hp (give or take in stock form) you can get from 80-100 extra horsepower relatively easy with a street turbo kit. i would even go as far to say that 60-80 hp is very easy to attain. go turbo, you will have no reservations- just research it and do it the right way (under your budget that you have)good luck either way !
