Ok, I have a '92 Integra with the exact same engine as yours. We have essentially the same car. It has 140 hp and somehow I managed to top my car out about 3 years ago and hit 138 mph according to the speedo. I would reccomend not topping out your car however. 138 was almost at the top of 5th gear which meant dangerously high revving for a long period of time and your tires surely aren't rated for such speed (mine at the time were rated at 99 mph). I've hit close to 120 fairly easily as of recent without much drama or fuss but anything above that is a bit too dangerous.

A car never reaches the speedometer limit.I have a 1996 Mazda Protege DX with 1.5L 92HP engine and a 140mph speedometer. There is no way my car can reach that. I tested the top seed on a race track. I couldn't get passed 105mph. The Mazda Protege weighs about the same as the Acura Integra, but the Integra has more power. The Integra's top speed should be around 120mph. I think it has 110-140HP.The 2006 200HP Volkswagen GTI's top speed is 146mph, but the speedometer goes up to 160mph.The 2007 300HP Ford Mustang GT Top speed is also 146mph, because it is a heavy car and it is not aerodynamic because of its boxy design.

My 90 teg will bury the speedo at 125 and still picks up past that-stock 1.8 dohc, with intake and flowmaster exhaust-I estimate my top speed at +/- 130-135-with automatic trans (rs)

wow serious. Ok well top speed of an 2006 E55 AMG 160MPH speedo read past that. I went 159mph and that is a purpose built European tuned car compare to a stock USDM built/possiable built in canada too Integra. Top speed by your ecu 125MPH even though you can push it a bit more. To reach 140MPH you going need the following: First the right set of tires and rims

i had a 1990 integra and my speedometer said 140 as well. though never went above 100....don't see the point. and the HP is probably more like 150. it got slightly better than my friends 4 cylinder camry which was 140hp.

Your computer will only allow the car to travel to 125 mph.It doesnt matter how much HP or what your tach says. You need to reprogram the computer and remove the governer to achive a faster speed. You can have 50 Hp but as long as you have tall enough gears you could achive an unlimited speed. it would only take longer to get there.Your car can also have 500 hp but if you dont have the gears to go that fast you aint gonna get there
