Default 91 acura legend power door locks problem!

Hey peeps what's up. I am new to this site but I really need some help. I just recently bought a 91 acura legend and I love it but since I have bought it the power locks do not work. The trunk release does not work either. My mechanic says if all doors are not working it is probably not the lock motors. Someone told me it might be the wiring. Does anyone know how I can fix this myself? I do not want to pay an arm and a leg just to have power locks.

Thanks guys and gals!
