Default How do I fix this scratch?

Ok so over the summer, someone keyed my 1997 Acura 3.0CL on the rear panel. Its below the window and right above the crease in the metal. Its really deep and I was told that I would have to pay 250 to fix it, even if they cant match the color which is Primrose Mist. So I put a few layers of touch up paint which kept the rust from happening but i dont want to look at the scratch anymore!!! could i just use scratch remover now? What else is there but a body shop?????

put masking tape around the scratch and use very fine wet sand paper and sand it to the metal, then spray some primer on it and try to find the spray if you can to match the paint, if you use the spray spray like 2 layers and spray a clear coat over it , then leave it for like 5mins and get the turtle wax clay bar and buff the hole place (do it by hand not the buffer), then spray some more clear coat and do the same till the scratch is goneif you use the touch up stick leave it for like 5 mins and use clay bar on it do it like 2 times and use the clear coat and do as i said abovethis works better on small scratches if its big focus more on the outline of the scratch, i did the same thing on my 2002 maxima and fixed all the rust and scratches and do it only if the temp is above 60f, and if there any dents use some dry ice hold a little piece over the dent for about a min or two and it'll pop back out in about 10 mins, scratch remover don't work on deep scratches it only works on scratches on the clear coat hope this helps good luck

Take it to any auto bodyshop. $250 sounds very cheap for a deep scratch. Yeah, it will cost you between $300-$500 to fix a deep scatch at any bodyshop. Good thing about the bodyshop are that they can match the color and paint the whole rear panel, not just the scratched spot.
