Yeah why not, if you want to attract cops and thiefs.

Yea, but you will look really retarded and acting like those "ghetto" people. Also, you'll attract cops, rather than people. xP No offense, but it's a stupid idea and DONT DO IT.But if you want to, it's your car. You have to you use a lift kit....my recommendation is to use about 16-17" rims.

Go to http://www.tirerack.com/ and use their calculator to see what tire rim combinations fit your TL

Can you do it? Yes.But I don't reccommend it because:1) Makes your car stand out a lot, and people are likely to make attempts to steal either the car itself or the rims.2) Rims don't look all that good on cars unless it also has a full body kit.Since its your car, its your choice. But IMO, Acuras look nice even without mods.

That will only leave you with a max. of 3" of rubber . Will look pretty odd.I'd say maybe 18" max.I put 17" on mine and it pimps it out pretty good.

Are you insane? Your tire will wear out in 10,000km or less. Despite that you will need to get a new set of springs to lift your car up. '97 TL's are front wheel drive cars that generate less than 250bhp. 22inch rims are heavy as hell. Don't go more than 18" unless you want to attract thieves, cops and snickers from friends.
