Default Acura TL or TSX?

Don't know if I should wait for '09 models either, does anyone know when they will come out?

I read a lot of Motor Trend, Car and Driver, and Road and Track and I am not sure if the '09 models will be any different from the '08s or when they will come out. (probably late summer eary fall) They are great performing, reliable cars but i've heard the TL has torque steer b/c it's front wheel drive.

Rumor his it that the 09 TL will have over 300 HP and SH-AWD while the TSX will come in 2 flavors, a FWD card with about 220 HP and a SH-AWD model with the engine from the RDX

Get the TL, it is smoother and the engine is smoother. The TSX is rougher and has a 4 (v a 6) and is much smaller. The TL also has more of a presence and is in my oppinion is smoother looking both inside and out.

the 09's should be coming out the end of april-beginning of may. If they have any 08's left you probably will be able to get them at a excellent price. I own a 06 6spd tsx that I love. I drove a 08 tl when my tsx was being service-made me love my tsx even more. not overly impressed with the tl-especially the fact that it no longer has MT. If fact the 08 accord is better than the tl (IMO)

The '09 models will come out this year. Maybe... March. And you should get a tsx... it's way better!

Depends on your taste. If you care more for HP, then go with a TL. Its engine has noticeably more power. But if you want to save a bit on gas, the TSX is a better option. Personally, I think that the TSX has a better build quality than the mass-produced TL. Its 100% Japanese labor and parts, and this car won't steer you wrong. But if you really want to know what to get, test drive them both. That's a surefire way of seeing which car you'd prefer driving on a regular basis.Richard M: The 09 models will be different. Honda/Acura consistently redesign their cars every 4 model years.

The TL despite having more power is less fun to drive than the high revving TSX. I also think the styling of the TSX is better than the TL. So then....why did I buy a TL instead of a TSX? I wouldn't feel right, paying so much for a TSX, when it's just the European Accord.
