Default msd on a stock gsr worth it?

I wanna purchase a msd for my 94 gsr.....i've heard from other people that you get significant power increase by doing this....does anyone have this set up or know more about it?

I assume you mean an Integra GSR? And to be honest with you, an MSD on an otherwise streetable engine is going to, at best, shave off a tenth of a second or so on the quarter mile pull. So, if you are building this as a pro-street race car, then an MSD is an absolute need. If you are going to primarily be using this in shady neighborhood street racing, your money is better spent on a simple turbo setup, or a new engine block to start building up.

not really worth it until you get mods in which it would be supported better. money is probably better spent on doing something else. when upgrading your car- think about the total you want to spend before you start buying random parts. it always helps to have a plan. I always reccomend a turbo set up for someone looking for great power, but you are probably looking at a 4k-10k investment or more depending on how carried away you want to get. start with the basics- clutch and drag tires do wonders for 1/4 mile times, also exhaust and headwork (cams, port/polish, valve springs/retainers) set the base to do more as well.
