Default 1994 acura integra?

I just bought this car and am still getting to know it...It's automatic and has "D3" and "D4" on the gears...Whisch gear should i use daily? I've been driving in D3 since I figured that D4 means 4wheel drive (used for wintry weather)....Can anybody tell me what to do and these two different gears mean?

D4!That car doesn't have 4wd.D4 will let your transmission shift into 4th gear.D3 will only let it shift up to 3rd.Don't keep it in D3 because you car will eat more fuel. You only need D3 if you need more power for hills or passing cars.

I have an Acura with the same transmission setup. Definitely stick with the D4 b/c the D3 is mostly for sportier driving...and it uses more fuel b/c it wont shift up to 4th gear with leaves it revving in 3rd. unless you are driving locally and need to pass someone at a lower speed, D3 is good, but keep it in D4 for everyday driving to get the most out of ur gas mileage.

in automatic transmission shifting D3 = 123 and D4 = 1234 in transmission shifting you will use more gas in D3

acura integras are front wheel drives D4 would not have it on 4wheel drive impossible..but it would throw u into 4th gear and save some gas

Integras do not have 4WD, only an FF. Just stick to D so then your integra can shift into its final, 4th gear. (Stick integras have 5.) If you use D3, it will only go to the 1st 3 gears so then it will probably use more fuel and leave the integra working harder. So again, use D4, or drive in general.

our integra's are front wheel drive no for wheel drive. for daily drivibg use d4 for freeway use d3 becuase it limit the speed to about the legal speed on most freways an has more bhp(brake-horse power)if you have any question about the teg feel free to email me =]join team-integra.net
