i recently purchased this vehicle and the seller informed me that he had lost the code for the radio...i called customer serv. and they told me that becuase its an older model..that i would have to pay about $90 at a local dealer. they said the dealer would retrieve the code for me...however, i removed the radio and looked on the back for the serial number...its a digit number...could this be the code to put in? please help thanks guys because a girl NEEDS her tunes
also, im asking this becuase i want to avoid the $90 dealership fee...couldnt i just try the serial number on the back myself? |

You should ask the dealership if they can give you a radio code if you provide the serial number. Dealerships have a service like the internet only availble to them in which they can type in a serial code and it gives out a radio code. You will probably have to go into the dealership and show proof that you own the car. The serial number is not the radio code.
