For all you people who know about the issue with the RSX tranny issue (2nd gear grind and pops out at times) what is the best way to resolve this issue? If i purchase an aftermarket transmission will that fix this issue? and if that does fix it, whats the best transmission to purchase? any info would be helpful

I own a 2006 RSX and this is a pretty common problem with our cars, it also has to do with the way you shift. Anyways, you don't need a new transmission. The problem is on the shifter. All you need is an after market short shifter (revotechnica.com), shifter bushings and shifter cable bushings (Clubrsx.com, register and search the forums for shifter bushings and shifter cable bushings). This will help that problem a lot. Also, an aftermarket clutch if you are willing to spend some cash. Check out the website I provided and it will answer all your question on the RSX.
