if u bought this car new, they should have given u the code. if u bought it used, hopefully u got books(manual0 with the car. look in your glove box and in the manual for the code, it will be hand written. if no luck there, take the car and the registration to the dealer. prove u are the owner, and give them the vin and they should get u the code. some dealers will tell u they have to pull the radio out($$$) to get the serial number off the radio- they are full of it and just want your $$$

It might be inscribed inside of the fuse cover. It's located in the engine compartment against the firewall on the right (passenger side).

Go to any Acura dealer, show them your registration and ID and they will provide you the code for a fee. I don't remember how much they charge since I had to do it years ago. Once I got a copy of the code I made sure I kept it at a safe place because it comes in handy if you happen to change your battery again.

when you purchased the vehicle you should have been given the owners manule. in that there is a little white card that says anti theft code. now if you cant find you you have to contact the original dealership that sold the car. (i.e. if you bought the car used, you have to contact the dealership where the original owner purchased it from.) if you dont have this information i would go to your nearest acura dealer and with a valid state id and the registration they will pull the radio. run it through the american honda system and get the code for you. you may also want to check on the inside of your glove box. under the fuse box under the hood or even where the spare tire is at. those are the most common places for the dealership to put the extra sticker with the code.

a 5 digit code is required. It should be in your driver's manual booklet. if not, it is written in your maintenance journal
