i have an 03 Acura RSX that the heater will not blow hot air at idle,but at 30+mph it works fine?

Either your low on coolant or the heater core is plugged.

Congratulations. It works perfectly fine. The reason it's not working as much at idle is because there isnt enough engine power to generate heat at low rpm. every single car I'v eever driven is like that, topped off coolant or not. It's still working believe me just can't feel it that much.

It sounds like you have a defective vacuum actuator. At idle, there's not enough vacuum to move the baffle to the heat position.

A poor ground to the heater blower motor will slow hot air comming out of vents

Okay, Big Carp is right, and all you geniuses who think otherwise have no clue about cars. Lexus, Acura, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and Infiniti all work like that (yes, I have driven many cars). Not necessary at 30+, but around then.
