i have a 1992 acura integra LS automatic and i need to know the rpm number ar witch it should shift to the next gear(automatic) in the first and second it changes gear at 3 rpm but on the freeway when im going 60 and up the rpm goes up to around 5.5 and 6 rpm! is this normal i mean redline for this car is at 7 rpm so i know its not getting abused cause it never goes to seven it changes in 6 rpm then it shifts up but is that stil normal please really need healp!!

it depends on hard hard you are pushing the pedal, if ita hard the butterfly is open bigger and the RPM's will increase. the car redlines at 6800 RPM, youll never do damage because it shift by itself, unless you do the manual override and keep it at redline for a long timejoin team-integra.netemail me with any questions you have
