You're looking at 3 vtec heads. The b16a (civic si), the b18c1 (GSR), and the b18c5 (ITR).ITR is the best head from the factory. It has factory port & polish and the best cams. But it is the most expensive. For value, I would go with the GSR. It flows well. If you intend to mod it anyways, I'll get the GSR and throw in some aftermarket cams (skunk2 or crowler).

Just like the guy above me posted. There are actually 4 different b series vtec heads. The b16a (civic si) b16b (civic type r) b18c1 (gsr) b18c5 (type r). The integra type r (b18c5) head is by far the best head in the b series family. It is a b16 head with a mild port and polish and upgraded valvetrain and better cams. Then there's the civic type r head (b16b) is right behind the integra type r head with a mild port and polish and cams. But these are hard to come by and cost a pretty penny. Then you have the civic si head (b16a) and gsr head (b18c1) now when you ask somebody which is better out of these 2 you'll start a big frenzy of people saying the gsr is better and others saying the si is better. They both are good heads but the si out flows the gsr head in certain rpm range and the gsr out flows the si head in a certain rpm range. Many say the si head is better because the integra type r head is a b16 cast with upgrades. But it all comes down to how much your willing to spend and what you can find.
