it depends a lot of how the car is used. if it is driven hard (which is likely) it will get worse mileagethe mileage is about the same as other 2.0L 4cyl motors

I get 30 mpg in mixed driving and 35 mpg on the road. There's nothing wrong with that.

I get 28 mpg on the highway..thats pretty good considering I'm a lead foot person. ( I also like to 'take off' at all the lights...)I'm old and like to drive fast...I don't know whos complaining about gas mileage, but it's not anyone I've seen, in here..it's a little hard to go 55-65 on highways, since the speed limit is 70 here in FL..(goin less than 80 gets you run over...)

They get good gas mileage. They get up to 31mpg, which is very good for a 210HP engine. The reason people get bad gas mileage is that they drive to fast. People with sportscars never get the good gas mileage because they are heavy on the gas pedal. The only way to achieve 31mpg with an RSX is to drive on the highway at 55-65mph.

No they don't. But those people are probably comparing it to the contemporary Civic coupe.Very few people RSX owners will complain about gas mileage unless there is something wrong with the engine.
