Is not worth it to re-tool the whole plant for one model. Lets take for example the Zeta Platform from GM. Is a new RWD Global modular platform developed by Holden in Australia. The modular design will be able to make from sport cars like the 08 Camrao to the one you see on the road the Cadillac CTS.
